Calixto García, Ph.D., is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in the State of Florida and the Clinical Director of Community Behavioral and Health Associates, a multidisciplinary practice specializing in Neuropsychology, Behavioral Medicine, and Cognitive Reflex Therapy (CRT), a clinical intervention model he developed. His professional work centers on neurocognitive assessment, diagnostic formulation, and evidence‑informed treatment approaches for complex psychiatric and behavioral health conditions. Dr. García provides advanced training and supervision in Cognitive Reflex Therapy to graduate students, postdoctoral trainees, and licensed clinicians. Dr. García previously served as Associate Director of the Counseling and Psychological Services Center at Florida International University (FIU), where he also held instructional and supervisory roles within the Department of Psychology. His academic contributions include program development, clinical training oversight, and the integration of neuropsychological and behavioral medicine principles into university‑based mental health services. Over more than three decades, he has held leadership positions across clinical, academic, and administrative settings, with a sustained focus on systems‑level service delivery and clinician development. In addition to his clinical and academic work, Dr. García is the founder and senior instructor of ShinZenDo Ryu Ju‑Jutsu, a discipline integrating traditional martial arts with principles of somatic regulation and mind‑body awareness. Víctor Díaz Dou is a Clinical and Health Psychologist with more than three decades of experience in clinical practice, university teaching, and applied research in the fields of cognition, behavior, and health related psychological processes. He earned his Licentiate in Psychology from the University of Havana in 1992—equivalent to a Bachelor of Science in Psychology in the United States—followed by a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology (1994) and a Specialization in Health Psychology (1997). His professional development is further supported by formal pedagogical training initiated in 1984. Throughout his career, he has cultivated extensive expertise in psychological assessment, psychotherapy, and psychological rehabilitation, providing services in individual, family, and group modalities. His work also encompasses psychological counseling and the facilitation of therapeutic processes across diverse educational and healthcare settings. His academic contributions include university level teaching in courses related to cognition, behavior, and the psychological foundations of health, as well as participation in research projects within these domains. Since 2016, Mr. Díaz Dou has worked in the field of neuropsychological evaluation, under the guidance and supervision of Dr. Calixto García Abid. He has also completed advanced training in Cognitive Reflex Therapy (CRT), accumulating ten years of clinical experience in this therapeutic model. He is a member of the professional team at the Cognitive Reflex Therapy Institute, contributing to both the clinical application and the conceptual and training development of the discipline.

Lesly Baró, MS, is a Mental Health Counselor Intern and Cognitive Reflex Therapy practitioner with fifteen years of experience. Trained directly under Dr. Calixto García, she is part of the clinical team at the Cognitive Reflex Therapy Institute. She holds a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from the Universidad Autónoma de Monterrey, completed additional studies in education at the National University of Costa Rica, and trained at the Chacón Paut Psychiatric Hospital and the National Children’s Hospital. Lesly brings extensive forensic experience from her work at Costa Rica’s maximum security penitentiary, La Reforma, where she provided interventions in substance use, sexual offenses, interpersonal functioning, and psychological evaluation. She has also served as a school counselor and as a university professor of psychology.
Dayanis Machado Olivera is a psychology and education professional with experience in psychopedagogical intervention, special education, neuropsychology, psychometrics, and ABA. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Pedagogy–Psychology from Universidad Central “Marta Abreu” de Las Villas. She has provided evidence based services to children and adolescents with autism, intellectual disabilities, and motor impairments, focusing on cognitive, academic, adaptive, and behavioral development. Her work includes multidisciplinary collaboration with psychologists, therapists, educators, and families. Her background includes practice with the Family Court of Villa Clara and teaching Psychology and Pedagogy to future educators. She is currently pursuing a Master’s in Clinical Neuropsychology at Universidad Internacional de Valencia and completing clinical training in Miami, Florida, under Dr. Calixto García. She serves as an Outreach Coordinator and Psychometrist, administering standardized assessments and supporting clinical workflows. She also works as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), implementing ABA interventions under BCBA supervision.
Silvia Trana‑Felipes, LMHC, MS, is an experienced mental health clinician and behavioral health administrator with more than a decade of leadership across community mental health centers, medical practices, and home‑health settings. She possesses extensive expertise in developing, supervising, and implementing cognitive and behavioral treatment plans; providing psychotherapy and psychoeducation to children, families, adults, and geriatric populations; and ensuring high‑quality clinical documentation, caregiver training, and regulatory compliance. Her professional background includes utilization management with Magellan Health Services, comprehensive behavioral plan oversight, crisis intervention, and multidisciplinary team coordination. She holds advanced graduate training in neuropsychology and behavioral analysis, complemented by longstanding experience in clinical supervision and quality assurance across diverse healthcare environments. Ms. Trana‑Felipes is currently being trained and supervised by Dr. Calixto García in Cognitive Reflex Therapy (CRT) and is an active member of the clinical team applying CRT within community behavioral health settings.
Lyam Nayib Garcia Baro
Yamireidy Mendez is an administrative assistant responsible for coordinating and supporting multiple organizational projects. She is currently pursuing a degree in Psychology at Florida National University, where she continues to advance her academic and professional development in the fields of mental health and human behavior. Her university studies began at Universidad Fructuoso Rodríguez, where she built a strong foundation in psychological principles, human development, and behavioral processes. She also holds certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), which has provided her with practical experience in the implementation of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies, individualized therapeutic support, and direct intervention with children and families in clinical and educational environments. Through this work, she has developed competencies in behavior intervention planning, data collection, treatment implementation, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
